Corporate Finance Associate

We seek an outside-the-box thinker who has a strong interest in technology and finance to join this small but growing team. The successful candidate will push herself/himself to consistently deliver accurate analysis, understand and articulate the intricacies of our business, and autonomously manage complex projects with numerous stakeholders. As a Corporate Finance Associate at Palantir, you will work closely with members of our finance, legal and business development teams on strategic projects that often touch multiple areas of our company.

Responsibilities

•  Structure complex programs leveraging outside legal and accounting resources
•  Perform analysis of numerous business metrics (financial statements, market penetration, capitalization table, etc)
•  Assist with external communications to equity holders
•  Understand and articulate our business strategy
•  Take on diverse new projects as the company scales

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Engineering mindset and entrepreneurial drive
• Ability to operate both at 30,000 feet and in the weeds, while seamlessly jumping between the two
• One to four years experience in finance, accounting, law, corporate development, or start-ups
• Passion for technology and innovation
• Business intuition and critical thinking skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Desire to continually learn

 Preferred

• Eligibility to obtain clearance from the U.S. Government
• Understanding of finance and accounting
• Demonstrated analytic and writing skills
• Strong Excel background
