Operations Administrative Analyst
Are you the first one to step up to the plate? Do you problem solve like a software engineer, but don’t know how to code? Do you find satisfaction in knocking out numerous projects faster than most companies can even figure out where to begin? If you’re a tactile planner, a “get it done” kind of candidate, then Palantir may be a fit for you.
At Palantir, you will be entrusted to manage numerous tasks and projects and improvise innovative solutions to our growing company. Our Operations team enlists kitchen managers, executive assistants, recruiters, and many other triage tasks; we have infectious positive attitudes and we strive to make the impossible happen. We are chameleons, most importantly, who are comfortable with a range of tasks ranging from running basic errands, keeping our home base overflowing with amenities, planning, managing and executing company-wide events, planning future expansion, and doing whatever we can to help maintain a positive work environment. We’ve been empowered to scale with our company, to be the infrastructure providers that support Palantir’s continuous successful growth.
There are two facets within this position, as we expect all our employees to have a diverse and well-rounded skill set. The job may ask for a full day of administrative desk work on one day, and the very next day, a full day of movement and physical labor. You must be comfortable with doing both.
Administrative Skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook); email communication required
- High level of organization; able to coordinate and execute tasks and projects independently
- Outstanding customer service: we are hard working, ethical and thoughtful in order to create the ideal environment for our engineers to produce brilliant software.
Physical Labor Skills
- Every day is different; be able to be flexible with projects from building desks to designing workspaces to helping set up for social events.
- Experience in construction, maintenance and facilities is valuable
- Comfortable with getting your hands dirty such as helping move our offices to new buildings
All other requirements
- High school diploma; some college preferred (various backgrounds accepted)
- Able to adapt and open to change, growth and new ideas
- Be prepared to take on anything that’s thrown at you
- Team player and open to feedback from team mates
- Able to put others first
- Great sense of humor and positivity
- Enthusiasm and plenty of energy
- Hours may vary; a flexible schedule is ideal as weekend work will be required for special company events or projects
